My friend Alaina lives in Chicago. She recently moved into a gorgeous new apartment that she shares with her boyfriend and their dog, Tucker. Her style is modern-meets-traditional and she has a penchant for West Elm — it’s understandable, she’s only 25! She just spent a week in Mexico, and I loved looking at her photos. I thought to myself, “I should give her a call or shoot her an email to ask about her trip.” Wait. No. Hold on just a second. I don’t have her phone number… and I don’t exactly have her email address. Alaina is the author of Live Creating Yourself, one of the blogs I’ve been following for the last month. I’ve never met her, but I love her. And of course I’m sure that if I were to meet her, we’d get along famously. Her blog is filled with doable projects, exciting ideas and unfettered enthusiasm.
